I have never painted or artsy … Will I be able to paint or create?
Absolutely! We created a fun space for you to explore and try something new. Not everyone was born with the artistic gene. Our workshops are guided by our instructors who will assist you from the beginning to finish!

What is open studio – freestyle painting? How does it work?
Open studio – freestyle painting means you are free to paint what ever your heart desires. We have images at the studio to inspire you or feel free to bring something from home. We will show you around the studio, where all the paint and brushes are and set you up. Ask us questions about your image or about different techniques and colours. We will always be around, just let us know!
What are workshops?
Workshops are guided by an instructor(s) to teach and assist you with different skills and techniques.
What if I don’t see a workshop that I want
How long are the workshops?
We would say roughly 2 to 3 hours, but some people stay a little longer to finish. We don’t want you to rush, so please stay until you are finished or come back another day to complete your masterpiece.
Can I paint or create something different than my friends?
Of course! We encourage you to paint or create the image you want. We have many images to select from OR bring an image of your own. You are the creator to your masterpiece.
How do I sign up for a workshop?
We currently offer workshops in acrylic painting, string art, watercolour, and woodcut art.
Once you’ve decided which one you’d like to explore, visit our calendar and select a specific workshop and date. Simply click “add to cart” and you will will be able to update the quantity of seats you would like to reserve. Once your order has been received you will receive a confirmation email. If you encounter any issues during this process, please contact us.
How much do workshops cost?
The cost of workshops range from class to class. To see specific prices, please refer to our Workshop Calendar.
Do I need to bring anything with me to a workshop?
Nope! All materials will be provided in order to take home your own masterpiece at the end of the session.
Can I book Paint Cabin for private events?
Of course. Your special event is important to us, even if it’s special only to you and your group. Whether you are having a birthday, anniversary, Girl’s Night Out, or corporate fun night, we provide the space to facilitate your creativity. You tell us your idea for a get-together, and we will help make sure you have an event that is a raving success.
Can we order food for our private events?
Yes. We have partnered with Cinq Foods for all our catering needs. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for our food packages.
How do I cancel a workshop?
We understand life happens, therefore we offer a 24 HOUR CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULE POLICY: If you need to cancel or reschedule a reservation, we require you contact us a minimum of one day before the event by emailing email@example.com or calling the studio at (647) 361-6017. We currently do not offer refunds. Rescheduled classes are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
Do I need to sign up in advance?
Yes, in most circumstances you will need to register in advance due to limited seating. If you would like to register last minute, please give us a call at (647) 361-6017 so we can confirm your participation.
What should I wear?
Whatever you are comfortable in. We have aprons at the studio, but keep in mind that some workshops (like acrylic painting) may get a bit messy! We recommend you wear something you wouldn’t mind getting paint on so you can follow your creativity to the fullest.
What time should I arrive for my workshop?
We recommend arriving approximately 10 minutes before the workshop. This will give you and your group a chance to sign in and get comfortable.
Is the paint toxic? Is the paint safe for children or pregnant women?
We use AP certified non-toxic paint. Our paint products are certified by ACMI to be labeled in accordance with the chronic hazard labeling standard, ASTM D-4236 and federal law P.L. 100-695.
