What is a Paint Cabin workshop like?

At Paint Cabin, you can socialize, learn and test the boundaries of your creativity in a no pressure and exciting atmosphere. We offer a variety of fun workshops and open studio painting, with all art supplies included. Our workshops are perfect for beginners and for all types of events, parties, and teambuilding workshops. How do I sign up for a workshop?

We currently offer workshops in acrylic painting, string art, watercolour, and woodcut art.
Once you’ve decided which one you’d like to explore, visit our calendar
and select a specific workshop and date. Simply click “add to cart” and you will will be able to update the quantity of seats you would like to reserve. Once your order has been received you will receive a confirmation email. If you encounter any issues during this process, please contact us.

How much do workshops cost?

The cost of workshops range from class to class. To see specific prices, please refer to our Workshop Calendar.

Do I need to bring anything with me to a workshop?

Nope! All materials will be provided in order to take home your own masterpiece at the end of the session.

Can I book Paint Cabin for private events?

Of course. Your special event is important to us, even if it’s special only to you and your group. Whether you are having a birthday, anniversary, Girl’s Night Out, or corporate fun night, we provide the space to facilitate your creativity. You tell us your idea for a get-together, and we will help make sure you have an event that is a raving success.

How do I cancel a workshop?

We understand life happens, therefore we offer a 24 HOUR CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULE POLICY: If you need to cancel or reschedule a reservation, we require you contact us a minimum of one day before the event by emailing hello@paintcabin.com or calling the studio at (647) 361-6017. We currently do not offer refunds. Rescheduled classes are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Do I need to sign up in advance?

Yes, in most circumstances you will need to register in advance due to limited seating. If you would like to register last minute, please give us a call at (647) 361-6017 so we can confirm your participation.

What if I’m not artistic?

All of our workshops are designed for beginners, yet engaging for students of all skill levels.

What should I wear?

We provide aprons for all our sessions, but keep in mind that some workshops (like acrylic and mixed media) may get a bit messy! We recommend you wear something you wouldn’t mind getting paint on so you can follow your creativity to the fullest.

What time should I arrive for my workshop?

We recommend arriving approximately 10 minutes before the class time start listed on the calendar, so you can comfortably choose your seat and sign in. 

Can I paint something other than what everyone else is painting?

Absolutely! Your passion and creativity is what will set you apart.

Is the paint toxic? Is the paint safe for children or pregnant women?

We use AP certified non-toxic paint. Our paint products are certified by ACMI to be labeled in accordance with the chronic hazard labeling standard, ASTM D-4236 and federal law P.L. 100-695.
